I'm genuinely confused, what methods to follow?

With any dog you just have to plan your strategy and then go with what works. I myself like cesar's methods. I have the most well behaved puppy now...but of course I also look up all kinds of training methods and what 3 different dog training shows. What can I say...? I just love dogs. Being a good dog owner is not expecting one method to work for your dog it is doing what you are doing...Trying to get as much info as possible. I think it is better to take some from all of them. I mean because a dog trainer will use different methods with different dogs. Persistence is key. No matter what method you use as long as you do whatever it is everytime without falter the dog will get it in no time. Training your dog is all about the outcome you want. Just do what you need to to get the result you want. Just hang in there. It is more repetition and practice than anything else most of the time. So just don't give up.
