Please Help! My Dog won't Eat!?

Today is January 4th, and my dog (6 year old, 15 lb. west highland terrier) had intestinal surgery to remove a foreign body on January 2nd. The vet says he will not make it if he doesn't eat anything in 12 hours. . . Please help me! he will not even eat his favorite treats!
