WHat is the best way to run for school board while 8 people are fighting for 2 seats?

My brother is running for school board is going up against 8 people, 2 inents, he is one of 6 challengers. Would this cause the inents to lose votes if more people are running for office? Whom ever finds a website or provides me the best information on how to run this campagin you get 10 pts. Also, he has raised money for his campaign, he has been going door to door, shows up to all board meetings, is going to place ads in local newspapers, has his own lit about him which he is ping to everyone he sees door to door and he has his own website.
