Whould this be bad to wear to a graduation party??

My friend is having a graduation party Saturday, her theme is cowboy/western/country. I was going to wear a black Bebe shirt, short black shorts, and sequnced sliver heels. Would this be innappropiate dress for a graduation party like this? I was going to wer my hair is a messy ponytail.
