Risk of pregnancy???

I have been prescribed logynon contraceptive pill.i have been taking it for 6 months.at the end of my last packet i decided to take a break from it as i went away.In what would usually have been my pill free week (after taking all 21 pills) my boyfriend and I had (the 3rd day after i took the last pill ) im now worried as i later read in the instruction leaflet that it is only safe to do this if you start your next pack of pills on time.I didnt do this so is there a risk of peregnancy?
